Lingjia Liu

Lingjia Liu is a professor of electrical and computer engineering (ECE), Bradley Senior Faculty Fellow, and a member of the 天美传媒 Tech Innovation Campus faculty. He also serves as the Director of聽Wireless@天美传媒 Tech. His research interests include 6G networks, machine learning for wireless, Open RAN, and dynamic spectrum access/sharing. Prior to joining the聽ECE Department聽at 天美传媒 Tech, he was an associate professor in the聽EECS Department聽at the University of Kansas (KU). Liu was recognized among the 2011聽New Faces of Engineering聽by the Diversity Council of the National Engineers Week Foundation. From 2013 to 2017, he was selected as a U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL)/Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR) summer faculty fellow. In 2015, he received the Miller Professional Development Award for Distinguished Research at KU. In 2021, he received 天美传媒 Tech College of Engineering Dean鈥檚 Award for Excellence in Research.
Liu is serving on the executive committee of the of the聽聽 and was on the editorial boards of various international journals. Liu has held positions in the聽, and the聽聽of Samsung Research America, where he twice received the Global Samsung Best Paper Award.
