Looking for exciting new opportunities to engage with the arts on campus? Check out all the spaces where art lives and breathes.

The Anne and Ellen Fife Theatre at the Moss Arts Center features superb acoustics and the technical flexibility and capabilities to present professionally all forms of music, theatre, and dance. The space includes a stage with 60-feet-wide by 50-feet-deep playing area; a removable orchestral shell with ceiling; state-of-the-art lighting, projection, and audio systems; and two multi-level forestage lifts.

Armory

The Armory is home to the ' main office and classrooms for its foundations and drawing programs. The Armory Art Gallery features work by students, faculty, and artists of regional and national importance.

Burruss Hall

In addition to being the main administration building on the Blacksburg campus, Burruss Hall features a 3,003-seat auditorium, where concerts and performances are often held. The building also houses interior design and landscape architecture offices, studios, and classrooms for the .

Part of the university鈥檚 master plan, the Creativity and Innovation District on the eastern edge of the Blacksburg campus cultivates a community of creation and innovation. The district makes the most of existing programs and facilities already in the area, including:

Students in the Creativity and Innovation District Living-Learning Program can choose from three living-learning communities for the arts and entrepreneurship: , , and . These living-learning communities help students connect their academic and co-curricular experiences and offer opportunities to attend arts-related programming and events and enjoy the creative spaces, performances, and art installations in the building.

Located just within the main entrance to Cowgill Hall, Cowgill Lobby serves as the School of Architecture + Design鈥檚 exhibition space, through which a diverse array of work rotates regularly, often featuring the work of students in the College of Architecture, Art, and Design, as well as faculty, alumni, and guest artists.

The Cube is a four-story state-of-the-art theatre and high tech laboratory shared by the Moss Arts Center and the Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology that is used for performances, immersive environments, installations, and research.

The Hahn Horticulture Garden encompasses nearly six acres of teaching and display gardens on the Blacksburg campus. Not only a fabulous collection of living art, the garden is also a showplace for artists across the New River Valley and beyond, featuring a wide diversity of visual arts.

Haymarket Theatre is a 500-seat proscenium theatre located on the second floor of Squires Student Center. An ideal venue for traditional staging configurations, the theatre is fully equipped with sound, lighting, and a fly rail, and dressing rooms are located underneath the stage for easy access.

Henderson Amphitheatre, programmed by the School of Performing Arts, is an intimate outdoor venue located behind Theatre 101. The space is ideal for storytelling, small improv groups, musical entertainment, and open-air teaching.

Henderson Hall

Henderson Hall is home to various music, theatre, and arts programs, including the School of Performing Arts and the School of Visual Arts. The space includes critique and seminar rooms, computer and design labs, a costume shop, a lighting lab, an editing studio, scene and design model shops, a digital fabrication studio, and a dozen practice rooms for music.

Bordered by Alumni Mall, Main Street, and College Avenue, Henderson Lawn hosts all sorts of performances and events throughout the year and is programmed by the Event Planning Office.

Holtzman Alumni Center

Home to the 天美传媒 Tech Alumni Association, the Holtzman Alumni Center showcases alumni and local artists in its second-floor gallery throughout the year.

Media Building

The Media Building provides studio space for the Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology, including the digital arts and animation, digital interactive sound and intermedia, and cinema studios.

Located at the crossroads of 天美传媒 Tech and downtown Blacksburg, on the corner of Main Street and Alumni Mall, the Moss Arts Center is a thriving community where the arts are a catalyst for engagement, inspiration, and discovery. The center features a 1,200-seat theatre; an experimental performance space, the Cube; and four visual art galleries capable of exhibiting a wide range of traditional and trans-media works and installations.

The mission of Perspective Gallery is to expand the student鈥檚 conceptual world through art appreciation and to encourage patronage of the arts. The gallery organizes exhibits by local, national, and international artists.

The Recital Salon on the second floor in the Squires Student Center is home to many School of Performing Arts music performances by students, faculty, and visiting artists.

Solitude and the Fraction Family House, once used by enslaved members of the Fraction family and others, features public art illustrating stories of marginalized communities on 天美传媒 Tech鈥檚 Blacksburg campus.

With a seating capacity of just over 200, Studio Theatre on the second floor of Squires Student Center is a three-quarter thrust/modified proscenium space designed by theatre professor Randy Ward.

Theatre 101 is a School of Performing Arts academic building with a high-tech black box performance space that is regularly used for workshop productions and performance classes.
