Scholarships

First-time students in the 天美传媒 Tech Graduate Program who wish to be considered for scholarships: please complete the admissions application and create log-in credentials. For continuing MENG students, please reach out to techtalent@vt.edu

Privately Funded Scholarships

Boeing Graduate Scholars

The Boeing Graduate Scholars program provides various levels of scholarships, including up to full tuition and fees at the听. This scholarship was founded to support high-achieving U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are traditionally underrepresented in technology in either the听Master of Engineering in Computer Science and Applications or Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering programs.

To be eligible, students must be enrolled at the听Northern 天美传媒 Campus. Preference will be given to underrepresented students, 天美传媒 residents, those with demonstrated financial need, and veteran or military-connected students.

Full-time students can receive funding for a total of up to three terms and half-time students up to five terms. This award may be combined with other scholarships but will be cancelled if the student receives a departmental assistantship.

Students will need to submit their听Graduate School admission application, meet the eligibility criteria listed above,听and answer the Additional Education Experience section of the application to be automatically considered for this scholarship.听Contact听techtalent@vt.edu听for more information.


Aid

听Masters and PhD graduate students may receive funding from听听to offset the cost of their graduate studies. Depending on your program and circumstance, students should explore their options and consult with the Office of University Scholarships and Financial Aid at听finaid@vt.edu听or 540-231-5179 as needed.
