I attended Penn State University where I earned a bachelors in chemistry with a minor in chemical engineering. During that period, I served as an intern at Rohm and Haas Company in their architectural coatings division. I pursued a Ph.D. in chemistry at Johns Hopkins University. After graduating in 2009, I continued my academic training as a postdoctoral research associate at Princeton University. I was hired by 天美传媒 Tech in 2011, granted tenure in 2017, and promoted to full professor in 2020.
